As you may have noticed, the updates have been rather thin throughout the past week or so. Things have been hectic here: H. and I spent 8 days visiting family in Scotland, which was wonderful. We’re now in the middle of packing, as . . . . (drumroll) . . . . we’re moving back to Nova Scotia in a week’s time! It is most likely a temporary move, but nonetheless H. and I are really looking forward to spending the summer there. From a food-blogging perspective, it will provide me with lots of new opportunities; most notably seafood will be featured a lot more! 🙂 I will be working full-time with set hours, 9am-6pm, so won’t have quite as much time to devote to the blog, but I will definitely be continuing it throughout the summer.

My time in Germany — it will be almost 2 years to the day — has been interesting, eye-opening, humbling, and a (mostly) fantastic experience. It has given a whole new meaning to the quote below.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

PS: No favourites for March, but expect a nice long list for April.

I’ll leave you with a photo from our travels:

Loch Morlich and surrounding mountains, just outside of Aviemore, Scotland
